Even though you’re brushing, your dog’s coat always ends up matted, often requiring a short shave down by your groomer. This workshop is designed for busy dog owners who struggle to maintain their dog’s coat at home and between grooming sessions at the salon. Bring your dog and tools so we can ensure you have everything you need to succeed. Not suitable for heavily matted dogs.

This course provides essential knowledge and skills to calmly and efficiently deal with emergencies that could help save a dog's life. It's ideal for pet owners and those working in the pet industry.
Course outline
Learn how to properly address wounds, seizures, heat exposure, bleeding, or suspected poisoning in your dog before safely transporting them for medical attention
Learn CPR using Canberra's only CasPeR-certified CPR dog, which provides hygienic mouth-to-snout resuscitation, hand compressions, femoral pulse checks, and ventilation
